Rice Cake Line Working Principle

The process begins with the placement of grains with the required moisture level (usually soaked in water) into the machine’s hoppers, and continues with the transfer of the grains to a mold by a pneumatic system. In the heated mold, the slide plate compresses the wet grains, allowing the mold to take shape, and after a short time, the grain expands to leave more space for the mass. This space allows the rice or corn to burst and the formation of rice cakes. When the machine’s cooking head is opened, the cakes fall onto a conveyor belt and continue their journey to a flavoring station, if desired, then to a drying station and finally to the packaging section.
